Providing Dog Guides to Canadians with Disabilities

Check out the first ever edition of The Pawsitivity Report – a newsletter we’ve created just for our donors to show how their support has touched our Dog Guides and their people right across the country.   This first edition is specially dedicated to our supporters – we know who you are! - who are responsible for all the love and laughter you’ll find in these pages.

From guiding their handlers through their daily lives to getting help when it's needed most, Dog Guides play a crucial role in the lives of Canadians with disabilities.

The mission of Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides (LFCDG) is to empower Canadians with disabilities to navigate their world with confidence and independence by providing Dog Guides at no cost to them and supporting each pair in their journey together.

From breeding to training with a life-time of follow-up services, each Dog Guide team costs approximately $35,000. The foundation relies on donations to provide these special matches and does not receive any government funding.

For more information about LFDCG, please email or call 1 (800) 768-3030.
